When you consider for the time, they were one of the few bikes built with racing in mind. Top notch frame and running gear, and a proven motor, often enhanced, doing the business. I guess cost must be a factor. This is the first and only on-board footage I have ever seen from a Bimota. The last time I saw one ridden in anger was the Oran Park round of the WSBK, when Doohan won both races. Was it Stephane Mertel riding it? Thanks Jeff for the article. ?
