You’re right regarding the above issues. It’s something I’m hoping will be addressed sooner rather than later. In terms of mass, I was quite comfortable with the setup. For me, it wasn’t too different from any of the competitors. In fact, it was actually quite good in comparison to some I’ve ridden recently. Get out to a local dealer if you can and give one a test ride, I don’t think you’ll have any issues.

I’m considering the touring version for myself and had heard similar niggles being experienced by others, specifically RBW fueling being a bit erratic (possibly solved with a software update), nasty buffeting from the screen (aftermarket touring screen needed) and hit-and-miss performance of the quickshifter. I also hear that these bikes carry their mass fairly high up – was that your experience?
