Thankfully I am lucky enough to not have tested it's crash capabilities. But as far as the fluro jacket goes for riding, it has been super warm and dry in a record cold Canberra autumn. Just yesterday, I wore it during sleet and it was very warm, dry and comfy.
I purchased the fluro jacket in October last year and so have experienced 40+ degree days wearing it. The ventalation was sufficient enough to get me through, but at those temps I doubt you could ever be comfortable, so it was fine.
Functionally I find it all very easy to use, though the chest zips for the vents take a bit of getting used to operating whilst moving. The fluro has 100% stopped cars form pulling infront of me during commuting and the grey reflective material is very effective, just shine a light at the back of it in the dark and you'll see what I mean! It also has a cool look on the back, when reflecting it looks like a devil face or similar.
I think the chest zips would have to be my only slight gripe about it, so I highly recommend the jacket!
