Hi Elie, it's a shame that Triumph, Guzzi and Aprilia were not there - as press we also don't see or hear much if anything from those brands these days. It would have been good to see BMW there but they have many events on. I spent around four hours there with my family, once I did my work there with some interviews and so forth. Personally, I reckon there was plenty to see, but yes agree very little to buy and the food was a nightmare - we ate outside of the festival. We enjoyed the atmosphere more than the expo and from an industry point of view, with sales the way there are, a full expo in an exhibition centre is not affordable. Stands at those shows were costing from $50,000 to $250,000 per exhibitor for the big guns... Serious money. This was much more affordable but I'm sure things will step up next year. The hardest thing for us as a family was parking, we had to park in Macca's miles away - with four kids and camera gear etc...

The worst bike show in history. There were a better variety of bikes in the car park. Drove down from Sydney for a complete waste of time. No Triumph, no Moto Guzzi, no BMW and no Aprilia. The manufacturers that were there had minimal range and no merchandise. Food range was minimal and atrocious as well. Walked from one end to the other in mins covering everything that the show had to offer. If it doesn't return to an exhibition center ie hombush, many people i spoke at the show also agree, I will not be attending ever again. Motorcycle sales are down across the board and this attempt made no favors.
