Hi Mate – totally agree. In the wet they are lethal – I’ve slipped at lights, walking, etc… Need to be very cautious on wet surfaces – Jeff.

I agree that these are fantastic “commuter” boots, especially if you want to wear them to work and not have to change shoes during the day. Very comfortable. Of course, they won’t offer any protection to your lower leg in the case of your bike falling on it, so better to wear proper calf-length boots for more serious riding. I’ve had my IRIDE 3’s for two years and they still look brand new, but I’m quite disciplined with keeping them clean and treating the leather with good conditioner. HOWEVER, don’t believe the non-slip claim. They have almost no grip whatsoever on most surfaces when damp or wet. Other than that, there is little to fault them.
