Hi Nick, thanks for the review. I did end up buying the SRL 2 and a Neotec II (Shoei Modular). I went on my first long ride yesterday. The 1.6 KM range is a bit of an over claim - 700 - 900 mts on a curvy mountain route and my intercom dropped.

Also, I had a significant sound leak - my fellow rider could hear my bike sound and so could I. My helmet fit is quite appropriate. Any pearls of wisdom to fix this? Many thanks, kind regards, V.

I have used a GT Air2 with SENA SRL2 all season on a R1250RS and R1250GS.
When it works, it is fine.
But with BMW it only works 10% of the time. Connections are lost almost every day or the SENA is suddenly the passengers helmet in the BMW menu.
I am not sure whether this is to blame on BMW or SENA. But the combination between the two is useless.
