Ginger Molloy died at the age of 88, earlier this month.

In Cathcart's article on the ex-Molloy H1R - he erroneously
claims that Molloy retired from racing after selling it - in fact
Molloy replaced the 500cc triple with a 750cc H2R & raced
it in quite a variety of events over the Oceania/Asia region,
during the 1970's.

I personally recall enjoy seeing him turn up on that H2R - in full
roadrace trim - at a local drag strip - hot-rod/bikie 'Run what you
Brung' meeting (& being jeered at by all the 2-stroke haters - who
really had no idea) - 'til Molloy fanged his angry-loud triple down
the strip - ripping low 10 sec ET's/high 130 mph terminal speeds.

That sure shocked 'em into reality- being so quick, on what looked
to be 'just a rattly little ring-ding'!
