Richard, You still have your RZ500? I am interested. (Serious buyer, not a time waster. Of course.... as long as bike is a good one and priced fair for buyer and seller)

Hi paul,
I have just finished a full strip and restoration of an RZV500 (you can read a 10 part series on it in Classic Motorcycle Mechanics) and it was easy to get parts for the bike. The RZV is the rarer and more sought after model globally now and is becoming more expensive. If you can get a first batch 51X Japanese import that is the one to go for. However, there is still a lot to be said of the value of any Australian plated bike of any model so it's a tough one. I prefer the RZV... it was easy to derestrict it. Jeff.

Hey Mate,

I am looking for An RZ500.
Do you think I am better to get an australian plated model, or go for the aluminium framed RVZ from Japan?
Like you, I always wanted one.
