– Negligible decrease in CO2 emissions
versus
– Massive increase in embedded energy
– Negligible decrease in fuel costs
– 40% decrease in range
– No increase in storage
– 2.3 times the weight
– 5.6 times the purchase price

8.9 kWh for 130 km @ 0.656kg of CO2 per kWh = 5.8kgs of CO2
8.9kWh @ $0.4186[current SA price] = $3.73
Range: 130km
Weight: 230kg
Under seat storage: 20L
Suzuki Address 110: $3,890
2.9L per 130 km @ 2.3kg of CO2 per litre = 6.6kgs of CO2
2.9L @ $1.499 [current SA price] = $4.33
Range: 200-250km
Under seat storage: 20.6L
Weight: 100kg
Does anyone seriously think that they’re saving the planet by buying a BMW CE 04?
