It’s been a fantastic bike for the past year or more. I ride it to Newcastle every few days and often head out to St Albans, Red Hill Road to Jerry’s or out to Wollombi. It does it all well. Very good bike for the moeny and for Australian conditions. We have just had the KLR for a few weeks, so have a full review on the way. Jeff rode it, and the CFMOTO, so will be mentioning that. The KLR is much more of a big dirtbike than the MT and much better off road, however, on the roads it can’t compare to the MT, which is much more road bias, so it depends what your plans are. Both bikes are very comfy on the highway but the KLR engine is working harder and being a big single, probably not as good for commuting a long way at sustained speeds every day…. Nick.
