Royal Enfield Tour of Tasmania 2026
Royal Enfield Australia has announced the Tour of Tasmania 2026, a six-day ride running from Feb 25 to March 2. Open exclusively to Royal Enfield riders, the event follows an 1100km anti-clockwise loop of Tasmania’s most spectacular sealed roads, starting and finishing in Devonport.
Unlike a fully guided tour, the Royal Enfield ride is a self-supported group event, giving riders the freedom to travel at their own pace while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow owners. Participants are responsible for their own accommodation, meals, fuel and mechanical preparation, while Royal Enfield provides the structure, route and daily destinations. Riders may join the full tour or select individual stages to be part of.
The itinerary showcases Tasmania’s best riding terrain, beginning with a scenic run from Devonport to Strahan on Day 1, followed by the iconic climb through Queenstown and sweeping curves through Lake St Clair National Park on the way to Hobart on Day 2. Day 3 heads up the coast towards Mayfield Estate, where riders settle in for the weekend’s biggest highlight.
Day 4 is dedicated to the Spoke Motorcycle Festival, hosted at Mayfield Estate, an immersive lifestyle event celebrating bikes, riding, culture, food, music and community. Festival entry is included as part of the Tour of Tasmania schedule.
From there, riders trace the east coast through Swansea, Bicheno and the Douglas-Apsley region before reaching Launceston on Day 5. The final day is a short, relaxed run back to Devonport for ferry departures or extended plans.
The event is designed for riders of all experience levels, with manageable daily distances, sealed-road routes and plenty of opportunities for photo stops and sightseeing. Mainland riders will need to book their own Spirit of Tasmania passage and are encouraged to arrive the day before the tour begins.
The Tour of Tasmania has become a standout annual experience for Royal Enfield owners, combining great roads, stunning landscapes and strong rider community. With the addition of the Spoke Festival for 2026, next year’s event is shaping up to be the biggest yet.
Royal Enfield Australia is encouraging interested riders to register early, organise accommodation and ensure their motorcycle is fully prepared for the 1,100km journey. Click here for more and to register.
