Steve Holcombe Joins Sherco for 2026–27 EnduroGP Campaign
Sherco has confirmed a major signing for the 2026 and 2027 seasons, announcing that nine-time Enduro World Champion Steve Holcombe will join the factory squad. The news follows a highly successful 2025 campaign for Sherco with Hamish Macdonald’s E3 World Championship title.
After years of racing as rivals, Holcombe and Sherco have reached an agreement that marks a new chapter for both. The British star will contest the E3 class aboard the Sherco SE 300 two-stroke, the model that dominated the 2025 season. His main focus in 2026 will be the EnduroGP World Championship, alongside selected rounds of the Italian Championship, the ISDE in Portugal and the Trèfle Lozérien, with potential UK appearances to be confirmed.
Bike testing begins in early January, with both rider and team highly motivated. “This is a new challenge that really excites me,” said Holcombe. “The SE 300 is a bike I’m keen to develop, and I’m confident we can be competitive from the start.” Further announcements regarding the Sherco Factory – CH Racing Team line-up are expected soon.
