The countdown to the inaugural Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup continues to gather momentum, with fresh announcements confirming a new team on the grid, clarity around the weekend race format, and the launch of exclusive fan ticket packages for all six rounds of the 2026 championship.

Set to debut alongside MotoGP™ next season, the Bagger World Cup is shaping up as one of the most intriguing new categories to hit the world stage, blending heavyweight American V-twin muscle with elite-level road racing.

Niti Racing joins the growing grid
Harley-Davidson has confirmed Indonesia’s Niti Racing as the latest team to join the provisional entry list, expanding the international flavour of the new championship. They line up alongside previously announced teams Saddlemen Race Development (USA), Cecchini Racing Garage (Italy), and Joe Rascal Racing (Australia).

Niti Racing becomes Indonesia’s first team to compete on the MotoGP™ stage, marking a significant milestone for the nation’s motorsport ambitions. Built on a strong domestic racing foundation, the team brings a distinctive identity that blends Indonesian heritage with modern professional racing operations, underlining a long-term commitment to global competition. Adding further strength to the grid, Australian outfit Joe Rascal Racing has also received approval to expand its entry from two riders to three for the debut season.



“With the addition of Niti Racing, and the approval of a third rider for Joe Rascal Racing, the provisional entry list now stands at four teams and nine riders,” said Harley-Davidson Global Director of Racing Programs, Jeffrey Schuessler. “This gives us a strong and competitive foundation for year one, and with ongoing discussions involving additional teams, we’re encouraged by the level of global interest as we continue to build the series in a structured and sustainable way.” A provisional rider line-up is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Saturday–Sunday race format locked in
Harley-Davidson and MotoGP™ have also confirmed the provisional weekend format, with the majority of rounds set to run across Saturday and Sunday, giving fans maximum on-track action across the MotoGP™ weekend. At the United States, Netherlands, Great Britain, Aragón and Austria Grands Prix, the format will follow a three-day structure:


Friday: Free Practice 1 and Free Practice 2

Saturday: Qualifying around midday, followed by Race 1 in the afternoon, scheduled immediately after the MotoGP™ Tissot Sprint

Sunday: Race 2, held either morning or afternoon depending on the event schedule


The Italian Grand Prix at Mugello will feature a slightly modified format, with FP1, FP2 and Qualifying on Friday, followed by both Race 1 and Race 2 on Saturday.
