Racers preparing for the next round of the NSW Road Race Championship will have the opportunity to fine-tune their machines and sharpen their skills with a dedicated race practice day at Sydney Motorsport Park on Friday, July 31.

Organised with the same classes as the St George Motorcycle Club NSW Titles, the special Ride Day has been designed exclusively for licensed road racers, eliminating the need to share track time with regular ride day participants. Unlike standard ride days, riders will be grouped by race category rather than lap times, mirroring the classes that will compete at the NSW Championship meeting at Sydney Motorsport Park on August 1–2.

The session groups will include:

White – Up to 400cc
Yellow – Supersport
Green – Superbike B / Retro
Red – Superbike A (sub-1:38 lap times)

Each group will receive six 20-minute sessions across the day, providing plenty of valuable track time ahead of the race weekend. Organisers have stressed that the event is strictly a race practice day, with entry limited to riders holding a current Motorcycling Australia Senior Competition Licence and competing on fully race-prepared motorcycles. No road bikes or recreational track day machines will be permitted. The dedicated format is expected to appeal to competitors looking for uninterrupted practice in race conditions before the championship resumes the following day.

The cost to participate is $315, with bookings now open online here
