First revealed earlier this year, the 2027 CRF450R represents the most comprehensive overhaul of Honda’s flagship motocross bike in more than a decade, incorporating a lighter and more powerful engine along with major chassis and suspension revisions developed through Honda Racing Corporation’s (HRC) factory racing program.
Honda says the latest CRF450R has been engineered to deliver stronger, more manageable power, improved stability and increased rider confidence across a wide variety of track conditions.
Honda Australia General Manager – Powersports and Products, Chris Schultz, said customer interest has been strong since the model was first announced.
“The feedback we’ve received since announcing the 2027 CRF450R has been incredibly positive,” Schultz said.
“We’re excited to now open Expressions of Interest for riders wanting to be among the first to secure the new model. We look forward to seeing riders experience the improvements for themselves when the bikes arrive later this year.”
Honda is encouraging riders keen to secure one of the first Australian-delivered motorcycles to register their interest through the company’s online EOI portal.
While Expressions of Interest are now open, Australian pricing, final specifications and the full range of genuine Honda accessories will be announced closer to the official launch.
The 2027 CRF450R is expected to arrive in Australian dealerships later this year.
