With Saturday’s Cross Country followed by Sunday’s Sprints, Kawasaki riders delivered a string of class podiums and secured multiple top-three championship finishes to close out the year. Empire Motorsport Team rider Austin completed an impressive EJ campaign aboard his KX250, racing to P2 in Saturday’s Cross Country before adding P3 in Sunday’s Sprints. The results were enough for the New South Welshman to secure the 2026 EJ championship, completing a strong season that included a double class victory at the previous rounds in Kempsey.

In J4, Empire Motorsport Team’s Nate Munro opened the Coonalpyn finale with P3 on Saturday before finishing P5 on Sunday aboard his KX250, securing second in the championship standings. Team Green rider Asher Murphy recorded P4 in the Cross Country and charged to P2 in Sunday’s Sprints, completing the season third in the J4 championship.

Team Green-supported Mason Phillips was unfortunately sidelined from the Coonalpyn finale through injury. Despite missing the final two rounds, Phillips completed his EJ campaign sixth in the championship standings aboard his KX250.

Young gun Koby Munro concluded his J2 season with another consistent weekend aboard the KX85, taking P3 in Saturday’s Cross Country and P4 in Sunday’s Sprints. Those results saw Munro secure third position in the final J2 championship standings.

JPM 360 Kawasaki racer and ProMX regular Madoc Dixon also made a one-off Australian Enduro Championship appearance at Coonalpyn aboard his KX250. The New Zealander raced to P6 in the E1 category during the Cross Country in Round 11, before improving to P5 in the Sprint format on Sunday, which also placed him P14 outright for Round 12.

The Coonalpyn finale brought the 2026 Australian Enduro Championship to a successful conclusion for Team Green, highlighted by Austin’s EJ championship victory, alongside runner-up honours for Nate Munro in J4 and third-place championship finishes for Murphy in J4 and Koby Munro in J2.
