Expressions of Interest for the Honda WN7 are now open, with limited numbers available exclusively to loyal Honda customers through an application process. As part of the application, customers will be invited to share their Honda story and explain why they would like the opportunity to ride the WN7.
The WN7 will only be offered through a two-year subscription program in partnership with Carbar. The subscription will start from approximately $400 a month, and will include registration, insurance, roadside assistance and scheduled servicing, providing customers with a simple and seamless experience… There are only 50 units being made available as Honda test the waters…
Designed around the concept of “Be the Wind, Listen to the Sounds of Nature, and Feel the Earth”, the WN7 combines Honda’s motorcycle expertise with benefits of electric mobility to deliver a connected riding experience.
Developed with urban riders in mind, the WN7 has been engineered for everyday usability. Its low centre of gravity, slim body design, 800mm seat height, 1,480mm wheelbase and 35-degree handlebar turning angle contribute to manoeuvrability in city environments. Honda’s unique front-rear split chassis configuration eliminates the need for a traditional main frame, helping create a slim motorcycle profile while housing the centrally mounted battery pack, which provides a targeted riding range of up to 140 kilometres.
A belt-drive system replaces a conventional chain drive, reducing noise and lowering maintenance requirements. Together with quiet-running helical gears throughout the drivetrain, the system provides smooth power delivery and reduced vibration. Australia is the only market outside of Europe currently planned to take the model.
“The WN7 represents an exciting new chapter for Honda in Australia as we introduce our first electric motorcycle to the local market.” said Chris Schultz, General Manager – Powersports and Products at Honda Australia. “With limited numbers available, we’re looking forward to enquiries from passionate Honda customers and learning more about the stories and experiences that connect them with our brand. Through our partnership with Carbar, we’ve also worked to make the process as simple and accessible as possible, allowing customers to focus on the riding experience.”
The WN7 has received international recognition, earning both the 2026 iF Gold Design Award and the 2026 Red Dot “Best of the Best” Award.
