ZXMOTO Australian Pre-Orders Now Open for Five-Model Line-U
ZXMOTO has officially opened pre-orders in Australia, with introductory pricing, colours and arrival timing now confirmed across its initial five-model range with customers now able to secure one of five motorcycles that form the first phase of the brand’s arrival Down Under.
Pre-orders opened at 7pm AEDT yesterday, with a fully refundable $500 holding deposit required to secure a place in the queue for the first shipments into Australia. The introductory launch pricing, available colours and expected arrival months for each model are now available through the ZXMOTO Australian website.
Pre-orders are being allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with customers to receive confirmation of their order and introductory price before being contacted by a ZXMOTO representative to finalise the purchase and connect them with their nearest dealership.
Five Models Lead the Launch
The initial Australian line-up consists of the 820RR, 500RR, 500F, MX250 and MX450, covering sportsbike, naked, motocross and LAMS-friendly applications.
At the top of the range is the 820RR, powered by an 818cc inline-three-cylinder engine. The model is also the platform being raced by Valentin Debise in the FIM Supersport World Championship, giving ZXMOTO a direct connection between its road-going flagship and international racing program.
The 500RR brings a lightweight inline-four-cylinder engine to the range and will be available in both LAMS-approved and unrestricted configurations. Joining it is the 500F, a naked model that combines retro-inspired styling with modern electronics and the same 470cc inline-four-cylinder platform used by the 500RR.
The off-road side of the launch is represented by the MX250 and MX450, with both designed specifically for motocross use. ZXMOTO describes the MX250 as purpose-built and track-ready, while the MX450 is positioned as its uncompromising full-size motocross offering.
500F Brings Four-Cylinder Character
One of the most distinctive models in the initial range is the new 500F, which takes its styling cues from the golden era of Japanese naked motorcycles. The 500F features a round LED headlight, chrome-finished exhaust and retro twin-dial instrument design, while modern digital electronics sit beneath the classic-inspired styling.
Power comes from a 470cc inline-four-cylinder engine, with ZXMOTO highlighting its high-revving character and four-cylinder exhaust note. The engine platform is shared with the 500RR, giving buyers a naked alternative to the fully faired sportsbike.
First Five Buyers Get Launch Event Invitation
ZXMOTO is also offering an incentive for the first customers to place an order. The first five pre-order customers will receive an invitation to an exclusive ZXMOTO launch event and unveil night scheduled for November. Those customers will be among the media and ZXMOTO team when the covers are removed from the new motorcycles. The brand says those first five positions are expected to fill quickly following the opening of pre-orders.
$500 Fully Refundable Deposit
Customers can place a pre-order by selecting their preferred model and colour through the ZXMOTO Australian website and paying a $500 holding deposit through the secure online checkout. The deposit is fully refundable. If a customer decides not to proceed, ZXMOTO says the money will be returned to the original card used for payment.
Once the pre-order is placed, customers will receive an email confirmation including their introductory price, with a ZXMOTO representative then making contact to finalise the order and connect the buyer with their nearest dealership. ZXMOTO’s full dealer network is scheduled to be listed from November 1.
More Models Coming
The five motorcycles now available for pre-order represent only the first phase of ZXMOTO’s Australian expansion. A second round of pre-orders is planned from late November as pricing and arrival timing are confirmed for additional models. Among them will be the 450 Rally, alongside further motorcycles spanning the rally, naked, adventure and cruiser segments.
For the first wave of motorcycles, each model’s expected starting arrival month is listed on the ZXMOTO Australian website and included in the customer’s pre-order confirmation. ZXMOTO says buyers will be kept updated as their motorcycles move closer to Australian arrival.
With pre-orders now officially open, the first customers have the opportunity to secure their place in the queue for ZXMOTO’s Australian launch and, for the first five, an invitation to the brand’s November unveiling event.
