Motorcycling Australia (MA) is now calling for expressions of interest for Australian Team riders for the 2018 International Six Day Enduro (ISDE), held in Viña del Mar, Chile on November 12–17.

ISDE is a prestigious enduro event with significant Australian successes and triumphs in recent years, including the Womens Senior Trophy Team in 2017 for a fifth consecutive year and a clean sweep by all three (Senior, Women’s and Junior) teams in 2015, a feat never before accomplished.

The prospects for Australia mounting a significant challenge at this year’s event are exciting and MA is looking to find the talent to achieve success in 2018.  As the oldest Off-Road motorcycle championship on the FIM calendar, ISDE is a true test of man, machine, difficult road conditions and reliability.

ISDE 2018 Preview

Riders wishing to apply for an Australian Team position in this year’s ISDE, will need to consider that while MA will contribute some funding to the team, there may be associated costs involved to selected riders.

Team Australia is calling for ISDE World Championship riders for the following three classes:

  • Senior Trophy Team: 4 riders
  • Junior Trophy Team: 3 riders
  • Womens Trophy Team: 3 riders

Application forms are available to download here. Applications must be returned by COB Friday, 4th of May 2018.
