Cassons hooked Luca up with some new riding gear before he hit the track! Check out what he thought of the IXON RS Tempo Air gloves, on the road and on the track! Action Shots: Lin Cotter/LG...

IXON is a well-known brand in the motorcycle clothing industry and offers a wide range of gloves for different types of riders and weather conditions. One of the most popular models is the RS Tempo Air which is designed for summer riding and hitting the track. Luca tests them out.

These gloves feature a perforated fabric construction and a breathable lining, which helps to keep hands cool and dry in hot weather. They also have a pre-curved finger construction, which helps to reduce fatigue on long rides or races. Some special features touchscreen compatibility, Reflective elements for increased visibility and adjustable wrist strap.

The RS Tempo Air glove work as good as they sound. The first aspect I appreciate was trying them on for the first time, normally gloves can be tough and cause blisters when breaking them in but I found immediate comfort from the get go.

The breathing holes all around the glove work well as I found out in the 6 Hour race and have the design set out perfectly, they allow most of the palm to breathe cooling down when it gets a bit sweaty. On the top side of the fingers and around the knuckles it’s plain leather with cushions around the finger knuckles, this protects them from the harsh wind when riding in winter, so you don’t get stiff joints!

Luca and Zane put in an awesome effort to bring the little Yamaha YZF-R15 home for a second place finish in the Six Hour Bucket Enduro.

Luca wore the IXON gloves in the Pheasant Wood 6 Hour. Stay tuned for his review on the leathers.

Most importantly, they are safe! IXON use a high quality leather (made from 63 per cent goat leather) so the gloves will protect the whole hand to the bottom of your wrist, riding around on the streets and even giving it some on the track. The outside of your hand is definitely the most vulnerable to injury when crashing, so IXON have that extra layer of leather to protect in and around the pinky finger.

Luca took the final stint on to claw back some of the time lost throughout the day. However, Keo was on fire by the end of the day.

“For $139.95 iRRP t’s definitely worth it to buy and stay protected while looking schmick.”

I love the red and black leather! They work well together it gives off an intimidating, fierce, sophisticated look that works well on motorcycles in general. For $139.95 RRP it’s definitely worth it to buy and stay protected while looking schmick.
