The 2017 Honda CBR1000RR and CBR1000RR SP Fireblades now have their official price tags.

Destined to arrive on Aussie soil in May next year; you could own an iconic 25th Anniversary edition of the CBR1000RR for an MLP of $22,499.

The up-spec CBR1000RR SP model, can be purchased for an MLP of $28,499.

Fully loaded with cutting-edge electronics packages both the CBR1000RR and CBR1000RR SP are underpinned by the ‘Next Stage Total Control concept, with the focus on a mechanical evolution of control, power and agility.

The power to weight ratio across both models is number one in the history of the CBR Fireblade, with a 14 per cent improvement over thanks to a weight reduction of 15kg and a 10 horsepower increase.

90 per cent of the major components in the 2017 CBR1000RR are brand new including a new electronic control system and ABS as standard.

Equipped with Honda Selectable Torque Control, Selectable Engine Brake, Riding Mode Select System and Power Selector and full Showa suspension, the Standard Blade will be available in Matte Ballistic Black Metallic and Victory Red.

The CBR1000RR SP has a host of added features including semi-active Öhlins Electronic Control suspension, a new titanium exhaust system and fuel tank plus Honda’s first lithium ion battery in a motorcycle.

The RC213V-S MotoGP derived technology elevates the SP riding experience even further; with Honda Selectable Torque Control, Selectable Engine Brake, new ABS, a Quickshifter and will be available in Tri-colour.
