Ducati has unveiled its latest masterpieces at the San Marino GP, with the new Diavel V4 RS and Multistrada V4 RS taking centre stage. Presented by Ducati Lenovo Team riders Marc Márquez and Pecco Bagnaia, the pair of RS models represent the pinnacle of Bologna’s engineering. Press: Ducati ANZThe new RS range has been conceived for those who view Ducati not simply as a brand, but as a passion. Each model is produced in a numbered series, underlining its exclusivity. Both the Diavel and Multistrada RS models showcase distinctive RS liveries, titanium and carbon fibre components, and premium details that elevate them above their standard siblings.

With their Desmosedici Stradale 1,103 cc engines, the two machines bring Ducati’s Superbike DNA to road riders. The counter-rotating crankshaft and desmodromic timing system deliver a wide, flexible power curve. At low revs the engines are smooth and accessible, while at high rpm they unleash the thrilling personality that makes Ducati famous – complete with the raw soundtrack of a dry clutch and the unmistakable Twin Pulse firing order.DIAVEL V4 RS:

The Diavel V4 RS has already etched its name into the record books, becoming the fastest accelerating Ducati production motorcycle. In the hands of Marc Márquez, the bike sprinted from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.52 seconds. With 182 horsepower, dragster-like proportions, and an advanced electronics suite, it pushes performance into previously unimaginable territory for a street-legal machine. Its design is equally uncompromising. A single-seat tailpiece, sculpted air intakes, carbon fibre tank covers and fenders, and forged aluminium wheels all contribute to both weight reduction and visual aggression. Öhlins suspension, a Panigale V4-derived braking package, and a bespoke RS livery complete the package, while a dedicated dashboard animation and engraved serial number add exclusivity. This is a Diavel with even more attitude – a blend of style, brute force, and precision engineering.Multistrada V4 RS:

The Multistrada V4 RS was already regarded as the sportiest touring motorcycle ever built when it debuted in 2023. Now, Ducati has raised the stakes again, integrating MotoGP-derived technology and refined engineering to create a machine that is both exhilarating and versatile.

Powered by a 180 hp Desmosedici Stradale engine with dry clutch and Akrapovič silencer, the Multistrada V4 RS features Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension, event-based damping strategies, and a sophisticated electronics package. Central to the update is the Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) system, which simulates the presence of more than 70 sensors to deliver precision handling, improved traction control, and safer, more effective rider assistance.Forged Marchesini wheels, carbon fibre bodywork, a titanium rear subframe, and a lithium-ion battery shave two kilograms from the already lean Pikes Peak edition, reinforcing its credentials as the most dynamic Multistrada ever. Riders can also count on advanced features such as radar-based Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, and a 6.5-inch TFT dashboard with Ducati Connect.

Numbered Exclusivity:

Both the Diavel V4 RS and Multistrada V4 RS will be available only as numbered series, with each bike carrying a serial number displayed proudly on its frame or triple clamp. Each model also greets riders with a special RS animation at key-on, reinforcing the exclusivity and sense of occasion that owning such a machine brings.Deliveries of the Multistrada V4 RS will commence in Europe in November 2025, with the Diavel V4 RS arriving in December. The United States will follow one month later, with global distribution scheduled to roll out soon after.

Ducati’s Pinnacle Philosophy:

For Ducati, the RS range represents more than just performance upgrades. It embodies the brand’s philosophy of creating motorcycles that blend cutting-edge racing technology with design and craftsmanship worthy of Italy’s finest. Whether it’s the blistering straight-line pace of the Diavel V4 RS or the all-round dynamism of the Multistrada V4 RS, both models stand as halo machines in their respective families.“The RS models are designed for those who desire the very best,” Ducati stated at the unveiling. “They represent the pinnacle of sporting excellence, defined by passion, technology, and an uncompromising pursuit of performance.”

As the sound of the Desmosedici Stradale echoed through Misano’s pit lane with Márquez and Bagnaia at the controls, Ducati once again reminded the world that in the realm of passion, performance, and exclusivity, the red bikes from Borgo Panigale continue to set the benchmark.
