Benelli say the TRK 702 is a comfortable and tireless globetrotter. Powered by a brand new 698cc twin-cylinder Benelli engine, developed precisely as a result of the need to create an intermediate product range between the 500cc and 800cc engines. The engine delivers power of 76.2hp@8750rpm and 68.2Nm@6250rpm. It features double overhead cams with four valves per cylinder, chain drive and crankshaft with crank pins offset by 180°, as well as electronic fuel injection with 41mm double throttle body. The transmission unit features a clutch side removable 6-speed gearbox, assisted by a wet clutch with torque converter. The 698 cc engine also includes a restricted version at 35 kW for LAMs licences.

Featuring a traditional trellis frame with a steel plate derived specifically from the 500cc model. The suspension is sorted by upside-down forks with 50mm legs and 140mm travel at the front, and a central monoshock featuring adjustable spring preload and rebound damping, with travel of 50mm (168mm at the wheel). A high-performance braking system is ensured by the double 320mm diameter semi-floating disc on the front and four-piston calliper, and a 260mm diameter disc on the back with a single-piston calliper. The 17in aluminium alloy rims mount Pirelli Angel GT 120/70 and 160/60 tyres.

This two-wheeler offers a full LED headlight unit and a high-resolution 5in TFT colour display, which has a Bluetooth connectivity. The handlebar controls allow also answering or ending a call. Colours: Anthracite Grey, Forest Green, and Pearl White.
