Key changes have been made to this year’s MotoGP calendar due to the coronavirus outbreak that is currently affecting various regions. The changes includes the addition of a new date for the OR Thailand Grand Prix, as well as the premier class now kicking off their season at the beginning of May.

The premier class will be kicking off their season at the Spanish GP, beginning on the 3rd of May. MotoGP will now also be heading to Chang International Circuit in Buriram over the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of October, which was the original date for the Gran Premio de Aragon; now scheduled for the 26th and 27th of September at MotorLand, Aragon.

The calendar for the rest of the season will remain the same, with 19 MotoGP races and 20 Moto2 and Moto3 races, starting this weekend at the QNB Qatar Grand Prix.
