Across nearly four decades, Ducati has amassed 449 race victories and claimed more than half of all Manufacturers’ Championships contested. From the groundbreaking 888 and 916 families to the latest generation V4 R, each evolution has continued the brand’s dominance, defining performance for production-based racing.
Since its debut in 2019, the Panigale V4 R has earned 108 WorldSBK wins, making it the second most successful Ducati in Superbike history after the legendary 916 series. The 2025 campaign saw four riders contribute to the title, led by Nicolò Bulega, who delivered 14 victories and finished the season as vice-champion. His triple wins in Australia, Cremona, and Jerez showcased the V4 R’s relentless pace. Additional podiums came from Álvaro Bautista, Sam Lowes, and Danilo Petrucci, proving the depth of Ducati’s global Superbike effort.
Ducati Corse General Manager Luigi Dall’Igna praised both the machine and its people:
“We’re very satisfied with the final season of the current Panigale V4 R, which for the fourth year running has proven the most competitive bike on the grid. The fact that so many private teams choose to race our bike shows how respected and capable this project has become. I’m incredibly proud of our team and excited to bring the next generation of Panigale to the track.”
With five privateer squads also achieving strong results this season, Ducati’s 2025 campaign reaffirms the Panigale V4 R as the ultimate WorldSBK benchmark — a machine born from Bologna’s passion and perfected through decades of racing innovation.
