Honda Motorcycles Australia has secured the title of Australia’s number one two-wheel motorcycle brand of FCAI members for 2025, topping overall sales and leading across multiple key market segments against brands that participate in FCAI sales data. Press: Honda Motorcycles AustraliaThe Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI), Australia’s automotive industry peak body, has released its 2025 motorcycle and off-highway vehicle (OHV) sales data, confirming Honda as the #1 selling two-wheel (2W) motorcycle brand with a total of 21,901 units sold.

Honda achieved a 10 per cent year-on-year sales increase and grew its market share by 2.7 per cent compared to 2024, an impressive result given challenging market conditions. The brand also achieved an overall 19.6 per cent share across the two-wheel market.Mr Chris Schultz, General Manager – Powersports and Products at Honda Australia, said, “I am proud to see these fantastic results, particularly in the off-road segment, following our domination on the racetracks in recent years. I would like to thank our dealer partners who provide our customers with outstanding levels of satisfaction.”Honda claimed the #1 position across five motorcycle categories in 2025: Agriculture, Fun, Trail, Scooter and Naked. The results highlight Honda’s strength in off-road segments, supported by racing success, a broad and competitive model range, and strong dealer backing nationwide.The brand finished as the #1 two-wheel off-road brand overall, leading the Agriculture, Fun Bikes and Trail categories, while also topping both the Scooter and Naked motorcycle segments.

Honda also placed five models inside the top 10 overall two-wheel sales results for 2025. The CRF110F was Australia’s #1 selling motorcycle model with 5,310 units sold, followed by the CRF50F in second position. The CRF250F, CRF125FB and CBR650R also featured in the top ten.The growth in junior and fun bike categories was a standout result. “We are delighted to see that kids are making the choice to ride, and ride a Honda,” Schultz said.

Honda’s category-leading models in 2025 included the CRF110F and CRF50F as the #1 and #2 best-selling fun bikes, the CBR650R as the #1 selling super sport motorcycle, the Navi (NVA110) as the #1 selling scooter, the XR190CT as the #1 selling agricultural motorcycle, and the CRF250F and CRF300L as the #1 and #2 selling trail motorcycles.Looking ahead, Schultz added, “We are excited for 2026 as we eagerly anticipate the arrival of key model updates, new models and expansion of the revolutionary e-Clutch system.”

Note: FCAI figures do not include sales of manufacturers that are not FCAI members, such as Royal Enfield, Benelli, CFMOTO and some other major brands.
