The AORC witnessed a scorching weekend of high-speed action in Kyogle, NSW. Against a backdrop of relentless sunshine, Motul Pirelli Sherco’s Jonte Reynders emerged as the star of the show, securing back-to-back victories in the fiercely competitive Tefol E2 class and an outright victory on Sunday.

Motul Pirelli Sherco’s Jonte Reynders emerged as the star of the show, securing back-to-back victories in the fiercely competitive Tefol E2 class and an outright victory on Sunday.

Reynders’ dominance was evident throughout the weekend, beginning with Round 9. After a slow start, the Tasmanian racer dug deep and showcased his prowess, conquering the challenging seven-kilometre track to claim the top spot with a commanding lead of over 20 seconds over E2 championship rival Josh Green.  

As the action-packed weekend rolled into Round 10, Reynders continued to shine. His speed and skill earned him the fastest overall time of the round, an impressive 47:37.219. Reynders’ back-to-back E2 wins were a testament to his talent and a strategic move to challenge Green’s reign at the top of the championship points leaderboard.

“To be honest, it took me a little while to get going on Saturday with a few small mistakes. However, I was able to dig deep and find my groove to finish the day off strongly with a class victory with a nice little lead over Greeny,” 

“Sunday was just one of those days where everything clicked, my Sherco 300 SEF was amazing, and I always felt completely comfortable and in control, which is a great feeling when you don’t have to hang it out. It was awesome to win every E2 test and take the outright victory for the day. Thanks to the Motul Pirelli Sherco team and all our greater sponsors for their support, I’m looking forward to the final round in Dungog,” concluded Reynders.
