The standout result came from Rachel Gutish, who starred alongside her Team USA teammates in the Women’s World Trophy class. From day one, the Americans stamped their authority on the event, building a commanding lead of more than 30 minutes. At week’s end, Gutish and her squad stood proudly on the top step of the podium. Team Italy, spearheaded by new national champion Sara Traini, also impressed with a strong fourth place finish.
A True Enduro Test:
This year’s ISDE was praised for its authentic course and well-prepared special tests, though heavy rain added to the challenge. Slippery conditions and low grip made an already demanding competition even tougher. Despite that, RIEJU’s factory riders rose to the occasion and delivered solid results across multiple classes.
In the Junior World Trophy, Spanish riders Alex Puey and Yago Domínguez fought hard for Team Spain, ultimately finishing fifth after a tight battle with Team USA. Meanwhile, in the premier World Trophy category, Dominik Olszowy flew the flag for RIEJU and Team Poland aboard his MR PRO 300i, helping the team secure 11th overall.
RIEJU also played a vital role behind the scenes, with its Race Service program supporting 19 riders from countries including the USA, Chile, Germany, Italy, and Spain. Providing assistance and MR300i motorcycle rentals, the service ensured that every supported rider not only competed but also reached the gruelling finish line.
A Winning Spirit:
The results once again highlight the competitiveness and reliability of the RIEJU MR PRO 300i at the highest level of international enduro racing. The factory team congratulated all riders who trusted RIEJU machinery to tackle one of the toughest events in the sport, with Gutish’s Women’s World Trophy triumph standing as a career-defining moment.
