Building a World-Class Team:
Founder and CEO Dennis Savic confirmed the appointment of Marc Alexander as the company’s first full-time Chief Technology Officer. Alexander, best known for co-founding Applied EV in Australia and LIFX in the United States, brings extensive experience in disruptive technology ventures. His arrival marks the latest in a string of C-suite appointments, underscoring Savic’s determination to match its product innovation with world-class management.
Alexander joins CFO Mark Raumer, a former Allianz Australia executive; COO Chris Gaspardis, who previously led manufacturing engineering at PACCAR; Chief Growth Officer Victoria Brown, with marketing credentials honed at McLaren and Rolls-Royce; and CIO Logan Kube, an EV investment specialist who recently advised the UK government on zero-emission vehicle policy. Together, they form a formidable leadership group tasked with driving Savic’s evolution from a domestic innovator into a global motorcycle brand.
Long-serving software engineering lead Sasa Savic and head of design Dave Hendroff remain pivotal figures in the team, having shaped the software architecture and styling of the C-Series since its inception.
“I could not be more excited to have access to the incredible knowledge, skills, and connections of these remarkable individuals,” said CEO Dennis Savic. “With our bikes now being manufactured on a rolling basis, the company is on track to be profitable in a matter of months – at which stage we’ll rapidly scale to meet our ambitious mid-term targets.”
Fast-Tracking Production:
Savic Motorcycles is already seeing momentum on the shop floor. With a streamlined assembly line and specialist tooling installed at its West Melbourne base, the company is accelerating output to meet orders from 230 customers in its queue.
Since deliveries began earlier this year, the C-Series has generated excitement not only among early adopters but also across Australia’s motorcycling media and sporting elite. Reviewers have praised the model’s smooth handling and instant torque delivery – an eye-watering 200Nm – while riders have highlighted the bike’s adaptive smart systems. Its edge-computing capability learns from individual riding habits, tailoring performance and comfort with each journey.
The C-Series’ blend of performance, customisation, and cutting-edge EV technology has positioned it as Australia’s most high-profile contribution yet to the global electric motorcycle landscape.
Backed by Industry Titans:
Supporting the leadership team is a board of directors brimming with automotive and EV expertise. Chairing the board is Nicholas Adamo, a former Deloitte and EY partner, investor, and motoring enthusiast who also manages a venture capital fund specialising in classic cars. Adamo’s portfolio includes Australia’s only privately owned racetrack.
Alongside him are Kel Kearns, a Ford veteran who now leads EV battery development for Daimler and Isuzu in the United States; Justin Hocevar, an automotive sales strategist with senior roles at Renault, MINI, Jaguar and INEOS Automotive; and Chris Ball, head of international sales at TGOOD Global, one of the world’s largest substation and renewable energy distributors.
The collective expertise spans engineering, finance, EV battery technology, global sales, and renewable energy – all vital ingredients as Savic prepares to ramp up exports and establish a high-precision powertrain assembly hub in China.
Redefining Two-Wheeled Performance:
Founded in Melbourne in 2016 by automotive engineer Dennis Savic, the company has quickly moved from a backyard vision to an award-winning innovator in electric transport. Its flagship C-Series embodies the philosophy of combining bold design, performance, and sustainability, all engineered and assembled locally.
The new leadership and board appointments come at a critical juncture. With production scaling up and profitability in sight, Savic is now positioning itself to move beyond Australia’s borders, chasing the kind of global growth that has eluded many EV motorcycle start-ups.
“This sixth generation of our company is about scale,” said Savic. “We’ve proven the bike, proven the brand, and now we’re assembling the leadership and governance needed to prove we can compete globally.”
Looking Ahead:
As the global motorcycle industry undergoes a seismic shift toward electrification, Savic Motorcycles is placing itself at the end of the revolution. With its C-Series already turning heads at home and an executive team with talent from some of the world’s most respected companies, the company believes it has the formula to succeed internationally.
For Savic, the road ahead involves more than just producing motorcycles – it’s about building a legacy for Australian engineering and design on the global stage. As CEO Dennis Savic summed up, “Our strength is not just in the bike we’ve built, but in the people and ideas we’re bringing together to take it to the world.”
