The event designed for 9 to 12-year olds was introduced in 2018 and has remained a must-ride for keen moto groms. A single supercross round has been confirmed at round six of the World Supercross Championship at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on 24-25 November.
YZ65 Cup is more than a race series, it’s a celebration of motocross designed to offer participants and their families a money-can’t-buy experience. With unparalleled access to YMA’s professional MX race teams, each YZ65 Cup participant is rewarded with memories that last a lifetime.
The ethos of Yamaha’s YZ65 Cup is to make every rider and his or her family feel like they are part of the Yamaha factory race team, courtesy of the unique bLU cRU range of benefits.
“Since its inception in 2018, the YZ65 Cup has provided more than 200 young riders the opportunity to feel what it’s like to be a factory Yamaha rider for the day. Rider Criteria:
- Age category: 9-12
- Must have current MA licence
- Must own YZ65
- Each rider must provide rider resumé
- Expressions of interest are now open and must be submitted by 15 Oct 2023.
