Suzuki Motorcycles Australia 2025 wrap, big year for 2026
Suzuki Motorcycles Australia Wraps Up Strong 2025, Looks Ahead to Big 2026 | Suzuki Motorcycles Australia has closed out 2025 on a high, reporting strong sales momentum, positive dealer engagement and a refreshed product pipeline as the brand heads confidently into 2026.
The Japanese manufacturer finished the third quarter of the 2025 Japanese fiscal year with solid results across key segments, underpinned by continued confidence in the Suzuki product line-up. December proved particularly strong, delivering Suzuki’s highest retail performance in more than 12 months, a result the company attributes to renewed momentum following nationwide dealer meetings held in November.
New product activity was a major highlight throughout the year. Suzuki reinforced its dual-sport heritage with the introduction of the DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM models. Both are powered by a 398cc single-cylinder engine featuring ride-by-wire throttle and selectable ABS. The DR-Z4S is positioned as a versatile on- and off-road all-rounder with long-travel suspension and a lightweight chassis, while the DR-Z4SM brings a road-focused supermoto option to the line-up, adding traction control, road-tuned ABS modes and chassis refinements for agile urban performance.
Suzuki also expanded its middleweight road range with the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT. Both models are built around the 776cc parallel-twin platform, blending classic styling cues with modern engineering. The GSX-8T features retro-inspired design elements such as a round headlight and refined ergonomics, while the GSX-8TT adds distinctive visual detailing and a unique seat design aimed at enhancing comfort and road presence.
At the performance end of the spectrum, Suzuki celebrated four decades of GSX-R heritage with the GSX-R1000R 40th Anniversary Edition. The special model combines upgraded engine and electronics with commemorative livery and badging, paying tribute to Suzuki’s supersport legacy while delivering contemporary performance.
Looking ahead, Suzuki previewed the all-new SV-7GX at EICMA 2025. The crossover sport-touring model features a compact V-twin engine, lightweight trellis frame and advanced ride technology, including traction control, selectable ride modes and a bi-directional quickshifter, aimed at both daily commuting and weekend touring.
Touring riders were not forgotten, with the GSX-S1000GT+ Australian Market Edition adding panniers, heated grips, a premium seat and tank protectors to enhance long-distance capability.
On the racing front, Suzuki enjoyed a successful 2025 in World Supercross. Ken Roczen claimed an overall victory at the Australian GP, while Jason Anderson secured the SX1 World Championship title at the final round in Cape Town aboard the RM-Z450. Momentum carried into the 2026 AMA Supercross season, with Roczen finishing second at the Anaheim opener and Anderson delivering a top-five result.
Suzuki Motorcycles Australia says strong dealer engagement, extensive media coverage and positive rider response throughout 2025 have laid a solid foundation for the year ahead.
“With a refreshed product lineup, active dealer partnerships, and a strong focus on rider experience, Suzuki Motorcycles Australia enters 2026 with confidence,” the company said.
Suzuki thanked its dealers, partners, riders and media for their ongoing support, signalling an optimistic outlook for another busy year on Australian roads and tracks.
