The New Bell Moto 2021 Helmet Line Is Here

Bell Helmets have just announced their Moto 2021 lineup, with a heap of new designs including the Moto-9 Flex, Moto-9 MIPS,MX-9 MIPS, MX-9 Adventure MIPS and Moto-9 Youth MIPS. There are plenty of styles and models to choose from to suit your style of riding and match the style of your existing gear.

Moto-9 Flex

The Moto-9 Flex is a first-of-its-kind helmet with the three-layer impact liner utilising multiple densities of material to more comprehensively disperse impact energy and works to reduce rotational energy transfer.

Moto-9’s flexible, segmented liner achieves an adaptive, more personalised fit for a wider variety of head shapes, and allows us to deliver superior ventilation throughout the helmet. Bell say that the Moto-9 Flex is the most advanced helmet they have ever made, and is setting the standard for rider protection in motocross and off-road racing.

Moto-9 MIPS

The Moto-9 MIPS is similar to previous years but Bell have added MIPS energy-absorbing technology to the popular helmet, enhancing protection. An extensive list of features – Tri-Matrix Shell, Velocity Flow Ventilation, X-Static Liner, Flying Bridge Visor, Magnetic Cheekpads/Strap Keeper, and an Industry-leading five-year warranty – makes the Moto-9 one of Bells flagship models.

MX-9 MIPS

Chunks of rock and dirt mean business when launched by roosting tires, and even when it’s muddy, hitting the ground is always hard. That’s why Bell said they have sweated the details on the MX-9, loading it with a tough polycarbonate shell, MIPS energy management system, an adjustable visor, Velocity Flow ventilation, and a removable, washable, anti-microbial liner for when the time comes to hose down.

MX-9 Adventure MIPS

Bell have taken their MX-9 and added even more capability with an integrated anti-fog, anti-scratch clear face shield. The shield flips up and leaves enough room for goggles in extreme conditions, or it can be removed completely. Conversely, the adjustable visor can be removed for a stealth street look. MIPS protection, Velocity Flow ventilation, and a removable, washable, anti-microbial liner round out the package.

Moto-9 Youth MIPS

The Moto-9 Youth MIPS offers full-grown protection in a youth-sized package. Sharing the same DNA as the adult version, the Moto-9 Youth MIPS uses a lightweight Tri-Matrix shell and MIPS for additional rotational energy management in some impacts.

The removable, washable interior padding, along with 10 vents and 3 brow ports, ensure they stay cool and comfortable whether they’re putting in laps at the local track or in your backyard. Bell say their goal is to help protect your young rider so parents can breathe easily as they explore their limits.
