Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the Alpine and Desert Special Edition Tigers. Available across both Tiger 900 and Tiger 1200 platforms, these new models bring enhanced specifications, unique styling, and premium features at an attractive price point. Press: Triumph Aus

The Alpine Edition takes its cues from snow-capped mountain passes and is based on the road-focused GT Pro. Finished in elegant Snowdonia White and Sapphire Black with striking Aegean Blue accents, it’s made for riders seeking refined touring performance and bold visual presence. In contrast, the Desert Edition channels off-road energy, based on the Rally Pro, with Urban Grey, Sapphire Black and vibrant Baja Orange highlights that celebrate Triumph’s rugged adventure spirit.

Each edition gains premium equipment upgrades. For the first time on a Triumph adventure model, an Akrapovič silencer comes standard on both Tiger 900 versions, while the Alpine also adds engine protection bars and the Desert gains fuel tank guards. On the Tiger 1200, the Special Editions introduce heated rider and pillion seats, plus Blind Spot Assist and Lane Change Assist—technology making its debut on Triumph’s 20L adventure models.

Power comes from Triumph’s distinctive T-plane triple engines. The Tiger 900 delivers 108PS and 90Nm from its 888cc triple, tuned for smooth mid-range torque and Euro 5+ compliance. The 1200 produces a class-leading 150PS and 130Nm, offering low-down grunt and thrilling top-end power, ideal for long-distance exploration or challenging off-road routes.

Handling and comfort remain core to the Tiger DNA. The Tiger 900 Alpine Edition runs Marzocchi 45mm forks with 180mm travel, while the Desert Edition uses Showa suspension with 240mm travel for tougher terrain. Both feature Brembo Stylema brakes and premium adventure tyres — Metzeler Tourance Next for the Alpine, and Bridgestone Battlax Adventure for the Desert. The larger Tiger 1200 uses Showa semi-active suspension with 200mm travel front and rear, spoked tubeless wheels, and Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers for top-level control.

Riders also benefit from Triumph Shift Assist, a 7in TFT display with MyTriumph Connectivity, and multiple riding modes — five on the Alpine and six on the Desert, including an Off-Road Pro mode for advanced terrain management. Optional heated or low seats further boost comfort.

Visually, both editions feature distinctive graphics — mountain-inspired motifs for the Alpine, and bold Baja Orange detailing for the Desert — along with LED lighting and new logos symbolising peaks and dunes. The designs showcase Triumph’s commitment to craftsmanship, precision, and adventure-ready style.

Triumph’s Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Stroud, said: “The Alpine and Desert Editions celebrate our customers’ epic journeys through peaks and dunes. They deliver distinctive design, enhanced capability, and outstanding value for money.”

Both Tiger 900 and 1200 Special Editions are available now at Triumph dealerships, backed by a two-year unlimited kilometre warranty. Prices start from $25,990 rideaway. For more details, visit TriumphMotorcycles.com.au.
