Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the all-new Trident 800, a fresh addition to its middleweight roadster line-up, combining Triumph’s distinctive triple-engine character with cutting-edge technology and a bold nakedbike design. Here is what Triumph say… Press: Triumph Aus

At its heart is an all-new 798cc triple-cylinder engine, producing 115PS at 10,750rpm and 84Nm at 8,500rpm. With triple throttle bodies, a redesigned airbox, and a deep induction roar, it delivers instant throttle response, strong midrange torque, and a thrilling surge to the 11,500rpm redline. The result is the unmistakable Triumph soundtrack and a power delivery tuned for daily use and weekend blasts alike.

Built for agility, the Trident 800 weighs just 198kg fully fuelled. Its lightweight frame and Showa 41mm adjustable forks with a matching rear monoshock deliver razor-sharp handling and confident stability. Twin 310mm front discs with four-piston radial calipers provide assured stopping power, while Michelin tyres keep things planted. The 810mm seat height and compact ergonomics make it accessible and intuitive for a wide range of riders.

Technology is a major part of the Trident’s appeal. Three selectable riding modes—Road, Sport and Rain—adjust throttle response and traction control to match conditions. Lean-sensitive Optimised Cornering ABS and Traction Control use real-time data to fine-tune braking and power delivery, adding confidence in every bend. Triumph Shift Assist allows clutchless up and downshifts, while cruise control makes longer rides easier.

A full suite of rider connectivity comes via the My Triumph Bluetooth system, integrating music, calls and navigation through the 3.5-inch TFT display and intuitive switchgear. All-LED lighting, including a DRL-equipped round headlight and self-cancelling indicators, completes its modern, functional package.

Visually, the Trident 800 channels Triumph’s signature roadster DNA with fresh energy. A sculpted 14-litre tank, minimal tail, and short, upswept silencer give it a lean, athletic silhouette. The bold styling is enhanced by premium finishes, a brushed aluminium look, and gold-painted alloy wheels that contrast with three colour options: Ash Grey with Diablo Red, Carnival Red with Graphite, or Jet Black. Riders can further customise their Trident with Genuine Triumph Accessories, including an Akrapovič titanium and carbon silencer for added performance and flair.Steve Sargent, Triumph’s Chief Product Officer, said the Trident 800 “takes the winning formula of the Trident 660 and Street Triple 765 RS and dials it up, delivering even more capability, technology and excitement for everyday riders.”

Backed by a two-year unlimited kilometre warranty and 16,000km service intervals, the Trident 800 is designed for more riding and less maintenance—an ideal blend of power, precision and practicality.

Priced from $16,695 rideaway, the Trident 800 lands in March 2026 as a new benchmark in real-world performance and everyday fun. Available now to order.
