Leoncino 800 Standard
The beating heart of Leoncino 800 is the 754cc, liquid cooled, four-stroke, twin cylinder engine; which is now Euro 5 approved. It delivers well on the throttle with a power of 56 kW@8500rpm and a torque of 67Nm@6500rpm. The double overhead camshaft timing with 4 valves per cylinder, as well as the double throttle body of 43mm diameter, wet anti-slip clutch and 6-speed gearbox, complete the picture for a safe and state-of-the-art engine transmission assembly.

The suspension consists of a front upside-down Marzocchi fork with 50mm tubes, adjustable in rebound, compression and preload and 140mm travel. On the back there is a swingarm with central adjustable monoshock in the spring preload and rebound damping.

The Brembo braking system is exceptionally safe thanks to the double 320mm diameter semi-floating disc on the front and four-piston radial-mount monoblock calliper, and a 260mm diameter disc on the back with a double-piston calliper. The 17in aluminium alloy tubeless spoked rims mount 120/70-17 and 180/55-17 tyres. While the tank has a remarkable 15l capacity…

Leoncino 800 Trail
An off-road soul, pure Leoncino style. Benelli introduced Leoncino 800 Trail at EICMA 2021, a motorcycle they say has a distinct off-road spirit, brought out by the double exhaust in a raised position and the 19” front wheel. This model extends the range of the Pesaro based manufacturer and is designed to bring out the authenticity of the Leoncino line concept.

The 754-cc twin-cylinder, four-stroke engine is liquid cooled and Euro 5 approved. The powerplant is the exact same as the standard model, meaning you get that comfortable power on road and a wild ride when you hit the dirt of loose gravel!

The chassis is also the same as the road going version but when Benelli were developing the new frame, they kept the Trail model in mind...

The chassis was revised in order to better tackle off-road terrains and uneven surfaces. The frame is a tubular trellis with steel plates, the same as the road version, which ensures easy and nimble handling on the road.

Benelli have given the Trail model more travel through its adjustable suspension to ensure it can tackle anything you throw at it!

In turn, the suspension has been upgraded: the Marzocchi up-side down front fork with 50mm diameter legs, with adjustable rebound, compression and pre-load spring, has longer travel, from 140mm in the road model to 148mm in the Trail version. The same upgrade took place on the rear, a single, central swing-arm with adjustable spring pre-load and rebound damping, travel was also increased (140mm). The Leoncino 800 Trail seat is raised to 834mm from 805mm in the road model.
