Sport Chief RT: Performance & Style with Premium Components

The 2025 Indian Sport Chief RT is a factory-custom cruiser featuring high-end components and practical enhancements for Australian riders. Building on the success of the Sport Chief, the RT model introduces Locking Rigid Saddlebags, a 2-Up High Bolster Seat, and an optional PowerBand Audio Bluetooth Speaker. Designed for riders seeking style and storage, the saddlebags offer over 37 litres of space, accommodating riding gear, boots, and gloves. These bags are standard on the Sport Chief RT but are also available as accessories across the Indian Chief lineup.

With a distinctive 2-Up High Bolster Seat, the Sport Chief RT offers an aggressive stance while improving rider and passenger comfort with its 127mm bolster. The moto-style 152mm machined risers, machined triple clamps, and forward controls provide an optimal riding position, while the Quarter Fairing with a 165mm windscreen enhances aerodynamics and wind protection. The motorcycle features 19-inch front and 16-inch rear contrast cut lightweight cast alloy wheels, wrapped in Metzeler® Cruisetec® tyres for exceptional grip.

Top-Tier Technology & Performance

Indian Motorcycle’s 101mm Touchscreen Display Powered by RIDE COMMAND integrates seamlessly into the dash, offering access to music, ride information, and turn-by-turn navigation. Riders can control settings via handlebar controls or the touchscreen, with support for wireless helmet communicators.

The Sport Chief RT is powered by the formidable Thunderstroke 116 (1890cc) V-twin engine, delivering 156Nm of torque for instant acceleration. The bike offers three ride modes – Sport, Standard, and Tour – allowing riders to tailor performance to road conditions.

Handling is enhanced by KYB® inverted front forks, which provide precise front-end control, while adjustable FOX® Performance Piggyback Rear Shocks ensure a smooth and customisable ride. The dual Brembo® four-piston calipers with 320mm rotors deliver confident stopping power.

Customisation & Accessories

Indian Motorcycle has introduced the PowerBand Audio Bluetooth® Speaker, an accessory designed for the entire Indian Chief lineup. With 90 watts of crystal-clear audio, the system integrates with the five-band equaliser on the RIDE COMMAND touchscreen, allowing riders to customise their listening experience.

Other accessories include the High Mounted Tee Bar, Moto Handlebar Risers (254mm), flared wind deflectors, and the Chief Pathfinder 146mm Adaptive LED Headlight, which adjusts lighting based on lean angle..

Super Chief Dark Horse: Blacked-Out Attitude

The 2025 Super Chief Dark Horse introduces a bold, all-black aesthetic with premium gloss paint. Now available in Limited and Dark Horse trims, the Super Chief lineup is powered by the Thunderstroke 116 and features premium components, including the 101mm Touchscreen RIDE COMMAND display, ride modes, cruise control, and keyless ignition among other features.
