Over the next two days, champions will be crowned, but already standout performers have emerged as the action heats up on the loamy, high-speed Gillman circuit.

128cc to 150cc 2T & 200cc to 250cc 4T

In the 15yrs division, New Zealand’s Hayden Draper was dominant in qualifying, taking three wins from three heats to lead into the finals. Behind him, Quad Lock Honda’s Tomi Doble and fellow Kiwi Maz Parkes sit second and third.

The younger 13-U15yrs category is shaping into a Yamaha vs KTM fight. GYTR Yamaha Junior Racing’s Heath Davy has swept both finals so far, with KTM Junior Racing’s Kyle Harvey consistent in second and Yamaha teammate Jobe Dunne holding third.

100cc to 150cc 2T & 200cc to 250cc 4T Girls

New Zealand’s Karaitiana Horne has stamped her authority on the 13-U16yrs Girls class, delivering a perfect 1-1 start to lead the points. BCP Factory Honda’s Makayla Rimbas (3-2) and Raceline TDUB’s Addison Orr (2-3) complete the top three.

85cc 2T & 150cc 4T

The 12-U14yrs group is being controlled by KTM Junior Racing’s Ollie Birkitt, who went unbeaten in his heats to carry momentum into the finals. New Zealand’s Connor Feather and Oli Chandler sit close behind.

In the 14-U16yrs class, Tyson Williams has taken two wins from two starts, with Dylan Gromball keeping him honest in second and Joshua McCloskey third with a consistent scorecard.

85cc 2T & 150cc 4T Girls

GYTR Yamaha’s Eliza Dennis has been the standout in the Girls 12-U16yrs category, taking a dominant race one victory before fending off a stronger challenge in race two. She leads with 50 points, ahead of Stephanie Turnbull and Aida Harris, who are tied for second.

85cc 2T & 150cc 4T (Standard Wheel)

A stacked 9-U12yrs field has delivered plenty of excitement. Mason Ezergailis and Archie Black both swept their heats to set up a finals showdown, while Samuel Gray enters as the third seed.

100cc to 125cc 2T

In the 15yrs division, the battle is tight. Cooper Bowman (2-1) holds a slender one-point lead over GYTR Yamaha’s Lachlan Allen, with KTM Junior Racing’s Cooper Ford only four points adrift in third.

The 13-U15yrs class saw Heath Davy again on top in qualifying, followed by GASGAS Junior Team’s Seth Thomas and KTM’s Kyle Harvey.

65cc 2T

The youngest riders have been producing thrilling racing. In the 7-U10yrs class, Nate Forwood has been near flawless, taking three wins from three heats, while Joe Thurlby and Mason Ryan follow.

The 10-U12yrs bracket is led by Mason Ezergailis, though competition is fierce with Kye Sproule, Bodhi Austin, and Archie Black all within striking distance.

50cc Auto

Parity has been the hallmark of the 6-U9yrs division, with multiple winners in the opening races. Oliver Thredgold claimed race one, while Malachi van Maanenberg stormed to victory in race two. Consistency has Ronrique Turnbull and Tyler Phillips tied on points at the top of the standings, with van Maanenberg and Thredgold only one and two points behind.

Two Days to Decide

With two action-packed days remaining at Gillman, the stage is set for the crowning of the 2025 AJMX champions. The combination of fast, loamy dirt and fierce rivalries ensures the finals will deliver a fitting climax to junior motocross’s biggest national event.
