Yamaha Racing All-In for 2026 ProMX With Huge Factory Team

Building on the unified approach introduced last season with Monster Energy, FOX, Dunlop, Yamalube and GYTR, Yamaha will field four major teams plus an additional Yamaha-mounted outfit, alongside a wide-reaching junior and support program.
Leading the charge in MX1 is the Monster Energy CDR Yamaha Team, retaining its proven rider pairing of Jed Beaton and Aaron Tanti. Both riders have already logged valuable time aboard the updated YZ450F, with Beaton returning from injury late last year and Tanti entering the new season motivated after a solid Supercross campaign.
In MX2, the Monster Energy Yamalube Yamaha Team welcomes Noah Ferguson, who switches to Yamaha following a podium finish in 2025 and is targeting championship contention. He’ll be joined by Soya Nakajima, a two-time IA2 champion from Japan, who will contest the full ProMX series before lining up at Darwin’s MXGP later in the year.
Women’s racing also receives a major boost, with Yamaha confirming a two-year trans-Pacific program for Lachlan Turner. The two-time AMA Women’s Motocross Champion will contest Australia’s WMX rounds and Darwin MXGP, adding international firepower and profile to the local championship.
The Monster Energy WBR Yamaha Team fields an all-new roster, highlighted by Jack Deveson and rising New Zealand talent Hayden Draper in MX3, plus Seth Burchell stepping up in MX2. Yamaha’s GYTR Junior Racing program expands again for 2026, now supporting 13 developing riders across motocross, supercross and off-road disciplines.
Further strengthening the paddock, Western Australia-based Berry Sweet Yamaha joins ProMX in MX1 with Regan Duffy and Sonny Pellicano, while Yamaha continues backing grassroots and state-based teams nationwide.
Complementing the on-track investment, Yamaha has also launched its BLU CRU Bonus Bucks program, offering substantial prize incentives across MX1, MX2, MX3 and WMX for Yamaha-mounted podium finishers.
Motorsport Manager Scott Bishop says the brand’s recent YZ sales success has directly funded the expanded racing effort, allowing Yamaha to support more riders, attract overseas competitors and reinvest in Australian motocross.
With factory teams, juniors, internationals and privateers all covered, Yamaha’s 2026 ProMX campaign shapes as one of the most comprehensive racing programs ever seen in Australian motocross.
