With just three rounds remaining, title contenders in the Kawasaki MX1, Pirelli MX2, Maxxis MX3 and Ezilift MXW classes all have plenty on the line as the series heads to one of Australia’s most demanding motocross venues.

Leading the way is Monster Energy CDR Yamaha’s Jed Beaton, who has dominated the MX1 championship with nine wins from 10 motos. The former MX2 world championship race winner holds a commanding 54-point advantage over defending champion Kyle Webster, with Aaron Tanti sitting just one point further behind in third.

The MX2 title fight remains far closer. Alex Larwood leads teammate Kayd Kingsford by just 10 points, while Byron Dennis, Dylan Walsh, Noah Ferguson and Ryder Kingsford remain firmly in contention.

In MX3, New Zealander Hayden Draper carries a healthy 40-point championship lead after a remarkably consistent season, although challengers Heath Fisher, Riley Burgess and Jackson Fuller will all be looking to close the gap.

One of the biggest storylines this weekend is the return of the Ezilift MXW class for the first time since the opening round at Wonthaggi. American Lachlan Turner leads the standings after a dominant opening round, but four-time defending champion Charli Cannon will be aiming to reignite her title defence after a heartbreaking last-lap mechanical failure denied her a strong result at round one.

Australian contenders Taylah McCutcheon, Emma Milesevic and Darci Whalley are also expected to feature prominently, although Taylor Thompson will miss the round after suffering an ACL injury.
