Riding for DM31 Racing KTM, McMahon led from start to finish in the six-test sprint format, but came under intense pressure from Shop Yamaha’s Ruprecht, who closed the gap to just 0.31 seconds at one stage.

McMahon ultimately found another gear to secure his second Pro Enduro victory of the 2026 season, finishing ahead of Ruprecht and teammate Jye Dickson. The result reduced Ruprecht’s championship advantage to 19 points, with the Yamaha rider on 215 points to McMahon’s 196, while Dickson sits third on 163.

“Keeping the championship alive was the main goal today, so I couldn’t be happier,” McMahon said. “We’ll just keep fighting until the end. The bike was awesome all weekend and we are very happy with where we are at.”

McMahon also claimed the E3 victory, extending his unbeaten record in the class, while Ruprecht took E2 honours. Cooper Sheidow won E1 for the fifth time this season, Danielle McDonald dominated the EW category and Kai Austin continued his impressive EJ campaign. Austin’s EJ victory moved him into the championship lead on 175 points, just three ahead of Bjorn Cardenas, with Marcus Nowland a further three points back. The championship now heads to Coonalpyn, South Australia, for the final two rounds on September 5-6, with multiple titles still up for grabs.
