Ducati has made history at Donington Park by securing its 22nd FIM Superbike World Championship Manufacturers’ title, extending the dominance of the Panigale V4 R to five consecutive championships. Press: Ducati

The milestone comes during Ducati’s centenary year, adding another significant achievement to the manufacturer’s 100-year history. The 2026 crown continues an extraordinary WorldSBK run that stretches back to the Ducati 888 and now reaches the Panigale V4 R.

Ducati has claimed five consecutive Manufacturers’ titles with the Panigale V4 R, following championships in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. The achievement has also been a standout season for Team Aruba.it Racing – Ducati, with Nicolò Bulega and Iker Lecuona combining for an impressive 24 victories and 44 podium finishes during the campaign.

The team also secured the 2026 WorldSBK Teams’ Championship at Donington Park, its fifth title in the category and fifth consecutive championship. Ducati’s WorldSBK record now stands at 22 Manufacturers’ titles, 16 riders’ titles, 473 race victories and 1,258 podiums.

The manufacturer’s 22 titles have been achieved across five generations of machinery. The Ducati 888 claimed three between 1991 and 1993, while the 916/996/998 family delivered eight titles between 1994 and 2002. The 999 added three more, followed by three for the 1098/1198 and now five for the Panigale V4 R.

For Ducati Corse General Manager Luigi Dall’Igna, the latest championship demonstrates the strength of Ducati’s technical and racing operation. He praised the work of Ducati Corse, its teams and riders, while highlighting the Panigale V4 R’s combination of performance, reliability and competitiveness.

The achievement is particularly significant given the anniversary timing, with Ducati celebrating 100 years since its foundation in 1926. With the Manufacturers’ and Teams’ championships now secured, Ducati’s focus turns to completing another record-breaking WorldSBK campaign with Bulega and Lecuona.
