The 2017 390 Duke has been restyled to more closely resemble its larger sibling – the Super Duke R, with new bodywork, a 13.4L steel tank and LED headlight.
A Ride-by-Wire system has also been adopted for the powerful single-cylinder four stroke DOHC engine, with a three-way catalytic converter and balancer shaft. Another addition is also the slipper clutch further pushing the 390 Duke’s sporting claims.
Power from the updated donk is claimed at 32kW or 44hp @ 9000rpm, while a dry weight of 149kg is also boasted.
The frame has been updated with a new trellis frame, bolt-on rear sub-frame and lightweight die-cast aluminium swingarm.
Suspension has also been revamped with a set of WP Suspension 43mm open-cartridge forks promising impressive performance.
The single front disc brake remains, now with the Brembo caliper mated to a larger 320mm rotor for improved braking performance, and backed up as standard by ABS. Levers are also adjustable.
