Harley-Davidson have announced a partnership with Chinese company Qianjiang (Motorcycle Company) who owns and produces Benelli motorcycles at this time, and is said to be the largest producer of ‘two-wheelers’ in China.

Qianjiang currently produce 50cc-1130cc motorcycles and is a major player in the Chinese market, including as a larger capacity motorcycle manfucturer, and claims to export to 130 countries and regions.

Harley and Qianjiang will develop a ‘premium’ 338cc model specifically for the Chinese market, that is slated for release in 2020, with other potential markets unknown, however Asia being an obvious choice, where smaller capacity machines are more the norm, while pricing is an essential factor for wider reach.
