Ducati has unveiled an extensive 2027 model range at EICMA 2026, headlined by five major new models, three exclusive SP editions and updates across its road and off-road families.

Ducati has brought a substantial collection of new and updated motorcycles to EICMA 2026, including exclusive Panigale SP editions, updated Diavel V4 range, new DesertX Rally, revised Hypermotard models and a preview of its next-generation Desmo250 EDS.

Ducati has arrived at EICMA 2026 in Milan with a strong showing for its 2027 motorcycle range, presenting five major new models alongside a series of updated machines, new colour schemes and further developments across its road and off-road families.

The announcements build on the Ducati World Première 2027 programme, with EICMA providing the first opportunity for enthusiasts to see several recently unveiled motorcycles in the flesh, including the new Panigale V4 MY27, Monster Dark and Multistrada V4 Grand Tour and Pikes Peak.

Among the biggest announcements are the return of the Diavel V4 S designation, the latest DesertX Rally powered by Ducati’s new-generation V2 engine, and three numbered SP models designed to bring additional racing-derived technology to Ducati’s superbike and naked motorcycle ranges.

There are also updates to the Hypermotard family, new liveries for the Scrambler Full Throttle, XDiavel and Multistrada V2, and a further expansion of Ducati’s off-road ambitions with the preview of the Desmo250 EDS. Here’s a closer look at what’s new from Borgo Panigale for 2027.

Ducati Diavel V4 and Diavel V4 S
The Diavel V4 receives a significant update for 2027, with Ducati sharpening the appearance of its muscle roadster while introducing new electronic features, improved rider information and the return of the S designation to the V4-powered family.

The revised styling draws inspiration from the Diavel V4 RS, incorporating new air intakes and several details intended to give the motorcycle a more aggressive appearance. The rear section has also been redesigned around a single-seat tail arrangement, while new wheels and additional detailing further distinguish the updated model.

Power continues to come from Ducati’s 1158cc V4 Granturismo engine, producing a claimed 168hp, with revised electronic control strategies intended to deliver smoother throttle response at low and medium engine speeds.

The transmission gains Ducati Quick Shift 2.0, designed to provide faster and more precise gear changes, while the updated electronics package incorporates a new 6.9-inch TFT display featuring optical bonding technology. Turn-by-turn navigation is standard, and the display graphics draw on those developed for the Panigale V4.

The major addition is the Diavel V4 S, which returns to the range for the first time in the V4 engine era. The S model receives Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 semi-active electronic suspension, using event-based adjustment to adapt suspension behaviour to riding conditions in real time. Other equipment includes a lithium-ion battery, heated grips and dedicated alloy wheel finishes.

Ducati is also extending its Factory Made personalisation programme to the Diavel range, allowing customers to configure their motorcycle at the time of purchase with selected colours, components and factory-installed packages. The Diavel V4 and V4 S represent a further development of Ducati’s distinctive combination of cruiser presence and sports motorcycle performance.

Ducati DesertX Rally MY27
The DesertX Rally is another significant addition to the 2027 range, with Ducati adopting its new-generation V2 platform and developing the motorcycle specifically for riders seeking a more competition-focused adventure machine.

2027 Ducati DesertX Rally.

The latest Rally is built around the 890cc Ducati V2 engine, which produces a claimed 110hp and 92Nm of torque. Ducati describes it as the lightest twin-cylinder engine it has produced in its class, with particular attention given to the delivery of torque at low and medium engine speeds.

The new engine is housed in a dedicated monocoque frame, with the chassis and suspension package developed to improve control, precision and confidence when riding away from sealed roads. A key feature is the Full Floater rear suspension system, incorporating progressive linkages, while the front end uses 48mm KYB closed-cartridge forks. The suspension specification is intended to provide the travel and control required for demanding off-road conditions.

The Rally also receives an Öhlins steering damper and revised wheel specifications. The rear wheel uses a 36-spoke configuration, with narrower rim channels intended to improve agility over difficult terrain while providing the strength and impact resistance required for serious off-road use. The DesertX Rally has been developed using feedback gained through Ducati’s experience in rally raid competition and off-road development. The move to the new 890cc V2 platform represents an important step for the DesertX family, with Ducati looking to combine a lighter engine package with improved chassis performance and dedicated off-road equipment.

Ducati Panigale V4 SP
The Panigale V4 SP is the most track-focused interpretation of Ducati’s latest-generation superbike, bringing a range of racing-derived components and specialist equipment to the MY27 platform. The SP is a numbered limited-production model, developed for riders wanting a motorcycle with a specification closer to Ducati’s competition machinery.

At its heart is the 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, producing a claimed 218hp. The engine is paired with a Ducati Racing Gearbox featuring Neutral Lock, while an STM EVO-SBK dry clutch provides another direct connection to the technology used in racing.

The specification includes carbon-fibre wheels, designed to reduce unsprung weight and rotational inertia, helping improve changes of direction and overall handling response. Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 electronic suspension is fitted, together with an adjustable rear suspension linkage derived from the Panigale V4 R. Aerodynamics have also received attention, with the SP incorporating larger wings and Corner Sidepods. These features are designed to increase aerodynamic load and improve performance through corners, particularly when ridden hard on track. The Panigale V4 SP is intended to deliver a more specialised riding experience than the standard V4, with its combination of lightweight components, suspension technology and racing-derived equipment.

Ducati Panigale V2 SP
The Panigale V2 SP brings the SP philosophy to Ducati’s new-generation middleweight supersport family, with a clear focus on circuit performance and the development of the motorcycle that will compete in the FIM Supersport World Championship. Based on the Panigale V2 S, the SP receives a number of important chassis and equipment changes developed using experience gained through the Lenovo V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy.

2027 Ducati Panigale V2 SP

The 890cc Ducati V2 engine produces a claimed 120hp and features variable valve timing. The SP specification adds Öhlins suspension, a longer swingarm designed to improve stability and precision, and lighter forged wheels. A dry clutch is another significant addition, allowing the use of Ducati Corse Performance Oil and providing a more direct connection with the motorcycle’s racing development.

The electronics package has also been enhanced, with modifications intended to improve agility, traction and rider control when pushing hard on circuit. The Panigale V2 SP is particularly interesting because it has been developed as a production motorcycle that will validate technical solutions intended for competition.

It therefore represents more than simply a higher-specification version of the standard V2, providing a direct link between Ducati’s production range and its World Supersport racing programme.

Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP
Completing the trio of SP announcements is the Streetfighter V4 SP, the most specialised and exclusive version of Ducati’s high-performance naked motorcycle.

2027 Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP.

Based on the Streetfighter V4, the SP adopts the traditional Winter Test livery and receives a collection of components developed through Ducati’s racing experience. Carbon-fibre wheels are among the major features, reducing weight and rotational inertia to improve agility and steering response. The motorcycle also receives an STM EVO-SBK dry clutch, racing final drive and machined, adjustable footpegs. The Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine produces a claimed 205hp, with the SP also gaining the latest-generation electronic Öhlins suspension.

Braking performance is enhanced through a Brembo MCS master cylinder with remote adjustment, allowing the rider to make changes to brake lever response. As with the Panigale SP models, the Streetfighter V4 SP is a numbered limited-production motorcycle.

Ducati has positioned it as the ultimate expression of the Streetfighter concept, combining the performance of its superbike-derived V4 engine with the more upright riding position and road-focused character of the naked motorcycle.

Hypermotard 698 Mono RVE and Hypermotard V2 RVE
Ducati is also expanding the Hypermotard family with two new RVE versions, bringing its distinctive Graffiti-inspired styling and additional equipment to both the single-cylinder and twin-cylinder platforms. The Hypermotard 698 Mono RVE receives an evolution of the familiar Graffiti livery, using a more elaborate finish designed to create the impression of a dedicated paint scheme.

The new graphics enhance the aggressive appearance of the single-cylinder machine, while homologated Termignoni silencers are included as standard in markets where they are available.

The Hypermotard V2 RVE marks the return of the RVE interpretation to Ducati’s twin-cylinder Hypermotard family. It receives a dedicated livery inspired by the concept that originally introduced the RVE family in 2019, together with two-tone wheels and a more comprehensive standard equipment package. The V2 RVE also gains Ducati Power Launch and Pit Limiter as standard, adding further functionality for riders wanting to explore the motorcycle’s performance.

Both models continue Ducati’s approach of combining distinctive styling with additional equipment, rather than representing entirely new mechanical platforms.

Ducati XDiavel V4 Black Edition
The XDiavel returns to a predominantly black appearance for 2027 with the introduction of the XDiavel V4 Black Edition. Two years after the launch of the V4-powered XDiavel, Ducati is introducing a new finish that emphasises the motorcycle’s muscular proportions and distinctive power-cruiser styling.

The Black Edition is designed to deliver a more imposing visual presence, with the new colour treatment giving the XDiavel a darker and more dramatic appearance. The underlying V4 platform retains the combination of cruiser ergonomics and Ducati performance that defines the model, with the new edition primarily focused on its distinctive appearance.

Ducati Multistrada V2 S Sport Livery
The Multistrada V2 receives a new Sport Livery for the 2027 model year, joining the existing Ducati Red colour scheme. Inspired by the colour combinations and surface treatments of the Multistrada Pikes Peak, the new livery uses black bodywork contrasted by Racing Red wheels and red detailing on the side panels.

The result is a more sporting appearance for Ducati’s smaller-capacity Multistrada, drawing on the manufacturer’s racing design language while retaining the versatility of the V2 platform. The current Multistrada V2 is built around Ducati’s new-generation V2 engine and an all-new chassis, with an 18kg weight reduction compared with its predecessor. The Sport Livery adds another option for buyers wanting the versatility of the Multistrada package with a stronger visual connection to Ducati’s performance models.

2027 Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle Heritage.

The Scrambler Full Throttle receives a new Heritage livery for 2027, drawing inspiration from the racing motorcycles and cars of the 1970s. The colour scheme combines classic green and bronze, with the bronze treatment also extending to the aluminium wheels. Black finishes on the exhaust heat shields and front side covers provide contrast, while the overall design gives the Full Throttle a distinctly retro competition-inspired appearance. The mechanical package remains based on the existing Scrambler Full Throttle platform, with the new livery providing a fresh interpretation of Ducati’s sporty Scrambler.

Ducati Desmo250 EDS – New Enduro Preview
Perhaps one of the more interesting announcements for the future of Ducati’s off-road programme is the preview of the Desmo250 EDS. Following the earlier preview of the Desmo450 EDS, Ducati is now expanding its enduro ambitions with a 250 model that is scheduled to reach European dealerships in summer 2027.

The Desmo250 EDS was presented as a preview at EICMA, with Ducati yet to release a complete technical specification. Its arrival will broaden the manufacturer’s modern enduro family and demonstrates that the off-road programme is continuing to develop beyond the Desmo450 platform. Ducati has made a significant commitment to off-road competition in recent years, and the introduction of the Desmo250 EDS provides another indication of the direction the manufacturer intends to take.

More 2027 Ducati Models on Display
Alongside the new EICMA announcements, Ducati is also displaying several motorcycles unveiled earlier through its World Première 2027 programme. These include the new Panigale V4 MY27, which incorporates further technical developments from Ducati’s racing programme, the recently revealed Monster Dark, and the Multistrada V4 Grand Tour and Pikes Peak.
