In the market for a new set of Summer riding gloves for ext season? Look towards the Dainese Air Hero gloves, an affordable, comfortable and stylish glove... Review: Jack Maguire.
The Dainese Air Hero glove is an affordable Summer riding glove for the street that boasts good protection and is designed to keep your mitts cool on some of the hotter days. I’ve been living with these gloves for a few months now and I must say, I really like them.
The gloves are stylish and look nice in my opinion. We got the short-cuff gloves in black/grey, which is simple but looks great, and is constructed of cowhide leather, goatskin leather and mesh fabric. The leather is a really nice touch on these gloves, giving it a ‘premium touch’ and it looks great! The overall styling of this glove is aggressive, relevant in the sharp lines in many design elements, but simply put – I love them.
Speaking of protection, this glove has a CE level two rating, with inserts on the knuckles for added protection and a goatskin reinforced leather palm for extra abrasion resistance.
These gloves have been super comfortable right from the get go, which I’m sure the pre-curved fingers are partly to thank for that. Even after months or wearing them every day, they still feel as good as new and are still just as comfortable, which is a testament to the great quality of these gloves. Not only are they super comfortable, but the short cuff means they are really easy to slip on and the adjustable cuff ensures for a good fit.
These gloves come in with an RRP of $139.95, a fair and affordable price for the protection, comfort and style you get. These gloves are catered towards the street rider and are a great choice if you are in the market for a new set of short-cuff street gloves for daily commuting and so on.
