We’ve just had a new package arrive from Link International, Australian distributors of AGV Helmets and Macna riding gear, with an AGV Sport Modular Helmet in stunning gloss carbon fibre and Macna Eighty One Jacket from their 2018 Graphite clothing range.

The AGV Sport Modular helmet offers a flip-up helmet without compromising safety, with AGV claiming the same level of protection as their Pista GP R helmet, that’s right their full bore racing helmet.

The AGV Sport Modular helmet is super light for the category at 1295g and features a 100 per cent carbon-fibre shell, including in the chin piece, with a variety of finishes available.
Additional features include an IVS ‘Integrated Ventilation System’, along with an immense field of vision and flip-down internal sun visor, ensuring great flexibility. The AGV Sport Modular helmet is available from $899 RRP and we’ll be featuring a full test soon, so stay tuned.

The other arrival was the Macna Aytee Jacket, which offers casual touring functionality with three layer construction and Night Eye for visibility, while remaining stylish for off-bike use.

Features include CE armour, both waterproof and thermo liners that are removable, air vent panels in the chest for when the weather heats up, and belt loops for keeping the jacket in place on the bike.
There’s also room for a CE back protector, while a hood will help keep you warm when off the bike, with the jacket available from $449.95 RRP. We’ll be doing a full review in the near future so stay tuned.
