1SELF have just launched and they’re looking to change the way we go about buying race leathers. Off the shelf options are great for a broad variety of people, but for the people that can’t find the perfect fit, 1SELF have a solution that’ll keep you safe and looking cool!

They can offer this at an affordable price point because they do not go through distributors and retail it online themselves. 1SELF are a small team of only two people so customers will be able to speak directly to the designers!
Philip Ahn, 1SELF Moto Founder: “As a passionate rider for over 20 years, I noticed that there was a real lack of leather suits available for people that don’t fit regular sizes. Women and children especially have a very limited selection. Safety and fit go hand in hand. A great fitting suit provides better protection and more comfort, allowing the user to ride with more confidence.
“Coming from an engineering and design background, I thought it would be a great opportunity to combine it with my love of motorcycling and 1SELF Moto was born. We also exist to cater to those that want to express their personal style and require customisation for sponsor logos and rider branding”.

The order process is quite straightforward. Once a customer is ready to proceed, 1SELF will take a range of measurements and do a consultation to understand all their design needs. They will then prepare a mock-up for their approval. Several iterations may be required to reach a design they are satisfied with. Once this is locked in, 1SELF will proceed to production which can take around 8-12 weeks. The suit will then be delivered to the rider.
1SELF suits are produced by the same manufacturers of tier one brands and they say they have established good relationships with them to ensure high quality for all their garments. They use 1.3-1.5mm cowhide for the base level suits and can also offer kangaroo leathers. The suits also come with CE level 2 limb armour and they are in the process of gaining CE approval for the entire garment.
