Leatt have just announced their new 7.5 helmet, the motocross helmet has a bunch of technology put into it to make the rider safe and comfortable. The 7.5 helmet is on sale now in Australia and will be one of Leatt’s flagship helmets.
The 7.5 helmet features turbine technology.
Leatt helmets feature Turbine Technology, the helmet is lined with 360 ̊ turbines, which are discs constructed from an energy-absorbing material designed to allow the head to move slightly inside the helmet during a crash reducing rotational, direct and deflective impact energy.
Leatt say this technology has two key advantages, the reduction of rotational acceleration to the head and brain and the absorption of energy upon impact at concussion level. In turn, this keeps the rider safe with peace of mind they will get home alive after taking a fall.
Regardless of the speed, Leatt say their helmets facilitate great all-round ventilation and are ECE certified for extra reassurance of their safety.
