The Kawasaki W800 Cafe has arrived, boasting retro styling, power for all roads and modern performance capabilities. With a lineage that dates back to the original W1, it is the ideal platform to represent true Japanese style and innovation in the modern classic category.

The W800 ‘Final Edition’ was actually announced in 2016 for 2017 in the European markets, seeming to mark the end of a 50-year run for this iconic model-line stemming back as far as 1966 with the original W1, which marked Kawasaki’s first high performance large capacity four-stroke.

The announcement of the end of the W800 was actually due to Europes motorcycle regulations, which are becoming increasingly stringent and seeing many old models left behind, while in Australia we saw a W800 Special Edition for 2018.

Now for 2019 we get the Kawasaki W800 Cafe, with a new functional cafe styled front cowl, clubman style handlebars and a two-tone seat and Metallic Magnesium Gray / Galaxy Silver colour option, alongside the iconic air-cooled vertical twin.
