It was bar to bar action from the drop of the green flag until Passfield crashed late in the race and Benro Racings Toparis took the lead on the last lap but only momentarily as Cube Racing’s Oli Bayliss flew past Toparis to take the chequered flag.

What an epic battle to kick off the 2020 mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship, presented by Motul.
